PURPOSE: To provide a rotor for an induction motor, the loss of which caused by resistances does not increase and the productivity and easiness in assembly of which are not deteriorated.
CONSTITUTION: After a plurality of bars 71 and one end ring 72a are integrally molded by using one ends of the bars 71 in the axial direction as a connecting section by, for example, die casting copper, the bars 71 and ring 72a are fitted to a rotor core. The other end ring 72b on the other side of the bars 71 is manufactured separately from the end ring 72a and bars 71 and put on the other ends of the bars 71 after the ring 72a and bars 71 are fitted to a rotor core. After putting the ring 72b on the rings 1, the ring 7b is electrically connected to the bars 71 by silver brazing, etc.
