PURPOSE: To provide a sheet transfer device which can correct the skew of a sheet member easily and correctly.

CONSTITUTION: The length in the axial direction of a center roller (subroller) 30 is suffciently reduced in comparison with the length in the axial direction of a main roller 28, and at a standard position, the center roller 30 is arranged in the state applied with a nip pressure, in parallel to the main roller 28 and opposed to the near center part in the axial direction of the main roller 28. Accordingly, when a skew is generated, each feeding quantity in the left and right parts of a film 20 varies, and a restoration force is generated so that the film 20 is set vertical with respect to the axial direction of the main roller 28. Further, the center roller 30 is supported in a swingable manner in the direction crossing for the main roller 28. Accordingly, when the skew is generated on the film 20, the center roller 30 swings, and the similar restoration force is generated.
