PURPOSE: To provide a sliding bearing with seals excellent in wear resistance and small in frictional force with a long service life even if being used in the environment with much foreign matter such as dirt and dust.

CONSTITUTION: Seals 2 made of lubricative composition containing lubricating oil are disposed at the end parts of a sliding bearing put in relative sliding motion to a shaft 3. The lubricating oil gradually percolates out of the seals 2 with the lapse of time so as to be supplied between the shaft 3 and the seals 2 for a long period of time. An excellent lubricating function is thus displayed while preventing the entry of foreign matter into the bearing.
