PURPOSE: To make it possible to obtain the uniformity of display and a higher contrast without generating a delay in deformation of image signals by arranging inductors having prescribed inductance values in a transmission path of a scanning line and data signal line for transmitting display signals.
CONSTITUTION: The transmission circuit of display signals for a liquid crystal display to be used for the liquid crystal display of a simple matrix system or active matrix system denotes an equiv. circuit of the resistors R possessed by the signal line and the capacitance C possessed by the signal line and nonlinear elements. The display signals are, however, propagated diffusively in this circuit and, therefore, the transmission at a high speed for a long distance is difficult. The inductances L are, thereupon, added at one picture element interval or plural picture element intervals in the transmission line of the display signals. Further, either or both of the capacitances C and the inductances during the transmission are so set as to be changed nonlinearly with an applied voltages. Propagation of soliton is possible with such circuit.
