Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve processing efficiency of an entire system by shortening access time to a storage part and also shortening the time for exclusively using a common bus, by reading the specified amount of data which specified by a particular instruction out of continuous addresses on the storage part, holding it in a particular buffer part and then processing it by the central processing unit.

CONSTITUTION: A storage part 7 which stores data and one or more processors 2i (i=a-n) which access it are connected with each other by a common bus 10, and the data processor 2i accesses the storage part 7 so as to read/write data. And, a buffer part 4 which can hold the specified amount of data that has been read out of the storage part 7 and written into the data processor 2i and the central processing unit 1 which reads the amount of data as specified by a particular instruction out of continuous addresses in the storage part 7 and then holds them in the buffer 4, and in addition fetches the held data for processing are provided.
