PURPOSE: To provide a maintenance-free dehumidifier/humidifier convenient for use.
CONSTITUTION: A dehumidifier/humidifier is provided with an air feed path and an exhaust path, which are so constituted that an indoor side can be changed over to an outdoor side, and vice versa, a blower 8 mounted on an air feed path side for feeding air, a heater 11 disposed at the outlet portion of the blower for heating air blown therefrom, an adsorption member 13 formed in porous structure and arranged in the downstream of the heater, and a temperature sensor 6 and a humidity sensor 5 for detecting a feed air temperature and feed air humidity, both being provided at the inlet portion of the blower. Thus, the dehumidifier/humidifier is so constituted that each operation of dehumidification, humidification, ventilation and circulation and the combined operation thereof are carried out in response to signals from the temperature sensor and the humidity sensor. According to these arrangements, the dehumidifier/ humidifier free from maintenance and covenient for use by utilizing the moisture adsorption and desorption action of the adsorption material can be provided.
