PURPOSE: To provide the subject fine particle having a multi-layered structure having a core comprising a specific perfluoro resin and a sheath comprising a specific vinylidene fluoride resin, etc., having a prescribed average particle diameter, excellent in blending and dispersing properties, and useful for coatings, etc.
CONSTITUTION: The objective fine particle is obtained by an emulsion polymerization method, has a multi-layered or inclined structure having (A) a core consisting of a crystalline perfluoro resin comprising 85-100wt.% of tetrafluoroethylene and 0-15wt.% of a fluoro olefin copolymerizable therewith and having a melting point of ≥250°C and (B) a sheath consisting of a vinylidene fluoride resin comprising 30-100mol.% of vinylidene fluoride and 0-70mol.% of another crystalline fluorine-containing olefin copolymerizable therewith (excluding hexafluoroisobutene) and having a melting point of ≥70°C in an A/B weight ratio of 96/4 to 30/70, and has an average particle diameter of 0.05-1.0μm.
