Abstract:
PURPOSE: To changeover a loop transmission line before the occurrence of a fixed fault by finding out early deterioration in the loop transmission line so as to eliminate a tentative fault when the user uses the system.
CONSTITUTION: A processor 22 of, e.g. an equipment 1 connecting to loop transmission lines 11, 14, 91, 94 generates a specific frame from data in a control storage section 24 by the interruption from a timer 25 to send the frame from a transmission line control circuit 21 to a concerned station through the transmission line. Each equipment receiving a specific frame checks the validity of the frame and stores a detected abnormality occurrence frequency to a control storage section 24 of the concerned station. The equipment 1 after the transmission of the specific frame changes the configuration of the loop transmission line when the number of times of abnormality occurrence for each equipment stored in the control storage section 24 reaches a predetermined number of times.
