PURPOSE: To provide adhesive and sealants based on polyurethane reactants which can be stored as one-component, frozen, premix materials for at least three months and when thawed, can be applied with a spatura or trowel to form non-sag fillets.

CONSTITUTION: One-component, frozen premix materials comprise (a) up to about 60 vol.% of at least one kind of a filler, (b) about 0.5-5 wt.% of a thixotropic agent comprising hydrophobic fused silica and (c) the balance a urethane matrix. The urethane matrix comprises at least one polyol that includes at least one carbon-carbon double bond in its back-bone and has <20 wt.% of ether and ester groups, at least one kind of polyisocyanate in a stoichiometric amount with respect to the polyol and about 0.01-0.1 wt.% of an organometallic catalyst.
