PURPOSE: To obtain colored resin particles capable of approximating the gloss of the colored resin particles to that of a cured product of a polymerizable resin liquid for dispersing the colored resin particles, reducing the uneven luster of a substrate composed of the colored resin particles and the cured product of the polymerizable resin liquid for dispersing the colored resin particles and providing decorated moldings with a beautiful appearance.
CONSTITUTION: This colored resin particles for decorated moldings are obtained by blending 100 pts.wt. mixed resin solution prepared by dissolving 10-50wt.% thermoplastic resin such as polymethyl methacrylate in 90-50wt.% uncured liquid thermosetting resin such as an unsaturated polyester resin with 100-200 pts.wt. filler such as aluminum hydroxide and 0-5 pts.wt. color pigment such as Fe2O3, further adding 0-1 pt.wt. curing accelerator and 0.5-2 pts.wt. radical curing agent to the obtained blend, curing the prepared mixture, crushing and classifying the cured product.
