PURPOSE: To obtain the pipe structural body having high deformation resistance to a high temp. and high pressure and high corrosion resistance by winding a platinum pipe around a core rod and further, coating the circumference with a metal having the m.p. lower than the m.p. of the metal of the core rod.
CONSTITUTION: The pipe 2 made of platinum is wound around the circular cylindrical core rod 1 made of titanium and the core rod 1 wound with the pipe is set in a casting mold. Material copper is cast to coat the circumference with a coating material 3, by which the platinum pipe structural body 1 is obtd. As a result, corrosion and elution do not arise and deformation does not arise either. Such troubles as generation of corrosion products and cracking of a reaction tube are eliminated. The coating material 3 coating the circumference of the platinum pipe is lower in the m.p. than the metal of the core rod 1, thus giving less damages on the platinum pipe and the core rod 1.
