PURPOSE: To provide a simple output limitation circuit that can be used by adding on a circuit comprised of a transistor which reduces the voltage absorption of a power control element part to suppress heating loss at the power control element part in a DC power source circuit small in capacity.

CONSTITUTION: This circuit is provided with an NPN transistor 11, a PNP transistor 12 whose emitter is connected to the collector of the NPN transistor 11 and whose collector to the base, a DC resistor 16 provided at the emitter output side of the NPN transistor 11, an NPN transistor 14 whose base is connected to the input side of the resistor 16 and whose emitter to the output side, and a second PNP transistor 13. The base-emitter of the first PNP transistor 12 is bypassed by the emitter-collector of the second PNP transistor 13, and the base of the second PNP transistor 13 is driven by the circuit consisting of the resistor 16 and the second NPN transistor 14.
