Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a door opening and closing type bathtub which can drain with no hot water remaining in a door opening and closing type bathtub body or a tank, and which can keep sanitary for long time even though several persons take bath.
CONSTITUTION: A door opening and closing type bathtub is composed of a door opening and closing type bathtub body 20, a tank 22 for temporarily reserving hot water transferred from the door opening and closing type bathtub 20, a pipe line connecting the bathtub body 20 with the tank 22, and a pump 40 connected in the pipe line. A controller 42 for controlling the drive of the pump 40, is provided therein with a delay timer 42a which delays the time of stopping the operation of the pump when the operation of the pump is to be stopped in response to a signal from a level sensor 45, a level sensor 49 which are provided respectively in the tank 22 and the bathtub body. A drain pipe is connected to the bathtub body, and is connected therein with a control valve 47 adapted to be opened and closed in response to a signal from the level sensor 45.
