PURPOSE: To receive a non-sort sheet to a non-sort bin without generating an obstacle for taking out the sheet by guiding the sheet via the first conveying route to either one of a sort bin or non-sort bin and via the second conveying route to the other one of the sort bin or mop-sort bin.
CONSTITUTION: When a non-sort mode is selected, a flapper 21 is turned in the counterclockwise direction to open the second conveying route P2. When a sheet from a main unit device H comes to advance, a point end of the sheet is detected by an inlet sensor 14, and by this detection signal, a drive pulley 15 of a conveying means 18 is started to rotate in the closckwise direction, to advance the sheet in the second conveying route P2 formed by a lower surface of a conveying belt 17 and a guide plate 19. By the timing when the sheet is stored in a non-sort bin 30, conveying action of the conveying means 18 is stopped. The second conveying route P2 is formed almost straight from a receiving port 13, and even a sheet of large thickness can be fed without any obstacle.
