Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of the troubles such as the failure of attraction and turning-down of a can, etc., during the transfer between conveyors, by comparing the shift head standard timing signal and the shift head position phase detection signal and acceleration/deceleration-driving a driving motor M a shift head until both the signals accord.
CONSTITUTION: A can 1 whose outer surface at the trunk part is applied with printing by a printing press is transported in a prescribed can pitch by a chain conveyor 10, and fed onto a feed conveyor 11. The transfer speed of the feed conveyor 11 is smaller than that of the chain conveyor 10. Then, the transfer head position phase detection signal 32c outputted from a photoelectric switch 32 installed in the driving system for the feed conveyor 11 is inputted into a sequencer 55 installed in the driving system for the chain conveyor 10. In the sequencer 55, the transfer head standard timing signal 56 and the transfer head position phase detection signal 32c are compared, and if the signal 32c deflects from the signal 56, a motor 44 is acceleration/deceleration-driven until both the signals accord. Accordingly, the influence of the deflection of position of the can can be eliminated.
