Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the drop of the cathode temp. due to the elongation of a heater installed inside of a cylindrical cathode of impregnation type, when the heater is turned on and off, and prevent shortcircuiting between the heater and cathode.
CONSTITUTION: The bottom of a heater coil 4 installed inside of a cylindrical cathode of impregnation type is supported by a heater supporting plate 10. This hinders the heater coil 4 from conducting linear expansion downward. Accordingly the metal base 5 is heated certainly by the heater coil 4.
