PURPOSE: To ensure the fixation between the end part of a protecting pipe and a covered wire by inserting a thermally shrinking synthetic resin tube having an adhesive fixed to the inner circumferential surface onto a covered wire and a protecting pipe, and heating this tube.
CONSTITUTION: A thermally contracting synthetic resin tube (m) is inserted onto both end parts of a covered wire 33 and a protecting pipe 35 formed of metal, synthetic resin or rubber. The tube (m) is formed of a cross-linked resin, and an adhesive consisting of hot melt is stuck onto the inner circumferential wall surface. When this thermoplastic tube 2 is heated, the hot melt adhesive is melted, and the adhesive is expanded to both end parts of the outer circumferential wall surface of the protecting pipe 25 and the outer circumferential surface of the covered conductor 33, and the thermally shrinking tube (m) is shrunk. Thus, the fixation of both end parts of the protecting pipe 25 to the covered wire 33 is ensured.
