Abstract:
PURPOSE:To measure shapes of a belt shaped body by detecting vibration required for the at a plurality of points along a lateral direction of the belt shaped body and by extracting frequency of peak power spectrum and amplifitude information thereof at each the point. CONSTITUTION:Vibration of a belt shaped body that is excited by vibration and/or external turbulence, is detected at a plurality of points on longitudinal center part, and the detected vibratory signal 1 is input to a signal input part 2. Then, spectrum of the detected vibration for each point is obtained at a vibratory spectrum calculation part 3, and spectrum peak at each point is extracted at a peak spectrum extraction part 4. When the number of the peak is only one, a peak vibration calculation part 6 calculates amplitude of the peak spectrum for each 8 measuring point, to obtain difference of tensile force of each lateral point. When the number of the peaks is two, a calculation part, 7 of peak averaged frequency calculates weighted average value at each point, to obtain difference of tensile formation of each lateral point. At a shape calculation part 8, equivalent steepness corresponding to steepness expressing shape of the belt shape body, is calculated from the difference of tensile force between the two points, which shows distribution of tensile form to lateral direction of the belt shaped body obtained at the calculation part 6 or the calculation part 7.
