Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a new and improved vent hole for a shielded enclosing part which provides sufficient EMI shielding, has a sufficient flow cross-sectional area for appropriately evacuating out of a ultra-low temperature device used for a magnetic resonance imaging equipment. CONSTITUTION: A wall 18 is covered with a metallic layer 21, and a shielding vent 10 is designed as a communication channel of a shielded enclosing part 20, while the electromagnetic wave possible for affecting on operation of diagnoses device, etc., used in the enclosing part 20 is fully attenuated. An attaching plate 12 is an almost flat metallic sheet, provided with a center circular hole of almost the same diameter as the outside diameter of a vent pipe 14. The vent pipe 14 extends through the hole and fixed to the attaching plate 12 by welding, etc., while a series of attaching holes are provided. A fitting bracket 25 fixes the attaching plate 12 to the wall of a shielded enclosing part 20 through the hole, extending so as to fix the shielding vent hole to the wall of shielded enclosing part 20.
