Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for folding noodle strips, having a simple constitution and sufficient air flow spaces in the interior, capable of performing stable folding operations without collapsing the shape, efficiently and continuously producing a noodle mass, having a uniform shape and good in appearance and further carrying out the folding operations in various modes.
CONSTITUTION: This apparatus for folding noodle strips comprises a feeding conveyor 2 for feeding noodle strips 1, a rotating cutter 3 additionally provided in the front end of the feeding conveyor 2, a separating conveyor 5 arranged connectedly to the rotating cutter 3 and revolving at a higher speed than that of the feeding conveyor 2, the first normally and reversely revolvable conveyor 6, installed connectedly to the separating conveyor 5, the second normally and reversely revolvable conveyor 14 arranged in a place under the space between the separating conveyor 5 and the first normally and reversely revolvable conveyor 6 and selectively revolving in the normal and reverse directions, a transfer conveyor 15 installed connectedly to the second normally and reversely revolvable conveyor 14, the third normally and reversely revolvable conveyor 18 arranged connectedly to the transfer conveyor 15, and a taking out conveyor 20 installed in a place under the space between the transfer conveyor 15 and the third normally and reversely revolvable conveyor 18.
