Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily replace a belt supporting roller which is heavy and broken to a normal one by one operator by installing each center of an upper horizontal beam for pushing up a conveyor belt and a lower horizontal beam for lifting up a belt supporting roller, in vertically two stages, on a center pillar and installing an inferior arc shaped roller lifting-up piece in recessed form on the lower horizontal supporting beam.
CONSTITUTION: A horizontally long board 9 is laid under the old supporting rollers 3a and 3b between the left and right side horizontal frames 8 and 8, and the jack 4 of a roller exchange machine is inserted in vertically contracted state. Then, each tilt of the upper and lower blade pieces 6b and 7b is adjusted so as to be parallel to the tilt of the corresponding belt 2 and the old roller 3b, and the upper and lower horizontal beams 6a and 7a and the upper and lower blade pieces 6b and 7b are lifted up by extending the jack 4 in the vertical direction, and the belt 2 and the old rollers 3a and 3b are lifted up through the support from the below. Then, the old rollers 3a and 3b can be demounted in simple manner by one operator. Then, the jack 4 is loosened, and the roller exchange machine is pulled out, in the state where the old rollers are loaded.
