PURPOSE: To provide a lighting fixture requiring a less frequent bulb change, and not causing a drop in light distribution characteristics.

CONSTITUTION: A lighting fixture body 1 is an enclosure 3 having an opening 2 at the lower surface thereof, and the base end of the enclosure 3 is provided with a column body 4. Also, a translucent body 5 is mounted on the opening 2 via a frame body 6. The inside of the enclosure 3 is fitted with two high intensity discharge lamps 7a and 7b in a vertical direction. The lamps 7a and 7b have reflector bodies 8 faced to each other optically. The reflector bodies 8 are so made as to be freely movable vertically via an electromagnetic slider 9, in order to meet the focal points of respective high intensity discharge lamps 7a and 7b.
