Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the number of setup times of trip level substantially by setting up, at a stretch, each the trip level of control rods corresponding to a plurality of output levels which come into within an already set forced permissible set-up region. CONSTITUTION:When control rods are withdrawn by a gang, output of a control rod withdrawal monitor (RBM) for a group of local output region monitors of each control rod, is calculated 12a, and an output monitoring unit 13a of the RBM calculates output leves of each the RBM output, from correlation of the calculation 12a rats and an amount of nuclear rotor core flow. Here, the situation is presumed that each the RBM output P1 to P4 of a plurarity of the control rods which are withdrawn by a gang, is under monitored condition, and the outputs P1 to P3 are within a permissible set-up region and the P4 is still out of the region. A judgement unit 14a of set-up permission judges the situation and sets up a trip level of the outputs P1 to P3 at the same time, to a higher one from an intermediate one, and leaves the output P4 at an intermediate one. In this my, by setting up a plurarity of the RBM outputs existing within the permissible set-up region at the same time, the number of operation times can be substantially reduced.
