Abstract:
PURPOSE:To uniformly keep temperature distribution of a seat surface without changing a thickness in portions so as to prevent deviation and distorted deformation of the seat surface. CONSTITUTION:A valve seat 1 is constituted of a base material 4 made of metal sintered in a circular shape and having a uniform thickness. A high heat conductive material (copper) 10 is infiltrated in the base material 4 according to temperature distribution TD of the valve seat 1 in a disposed state, where an infiltration amount is set in such a manner that the amount in a low temperature portion of the base material 4 is more than that in a high temperature portion thereof. Namely, the high heat conductive material 10 is completely infiltrated all over a division (a) at the highest temperature while the material 10 is not infiltrated at all in divisions (c), (e) at the lowest temperature. An infiltration amount is determined according to the temperature distribution TD in the other divisions (b), (d), (f). Consequently, heat conductivity is adjusted in the low temperature portion of the base material 4 and the high temperature portion thereof according to the infiltration amount of the high heat conductive material 10, thus uniformly keeping the temperature distribution of a seat surface 9 in the portions.
