PURPOSE: To reduce the cost and to improve the visibility of the number display of the placing table without using an electrical circuit to show which number of disk placing table is in its play position in a rotary type plural optical disk reproducing device which places any one of plural disk placing tables on a turntable in a play position by rotation and reproduces an optical disk.

CONSTITUTION: A placing table number display window 24 is formed on a front panel 1b of the device main body 1. A rotating drum 21, which is mechanically connected to the rotation of a turntable 3 through a reduction spurgear 16 and a spurgear 18, is provided and a placing table number display section 22 is provided on the peripheral surface of the drum 21. The displayed placing table number which is placed on the window 24 corresponds to the disk placing table number of a disk placing table 4 located in an actual play position 5.
