PURPOSE: To prevent deterioration such as putrefaction by bundling about one- side ends of glass rovings with a wire, coloring them with a coating material, and fixing the bundled parts to a mesh panel zigzag.
CONSTITUTION: The center part 3 of glass roving 1 having a specified length is bent at 180°, and the part about 10-30mm from the bent part is bundled with a wire 4. A brown urethane coating material is applied to the surface of the glass roving 1 by spray to color the roving in thatch form. Then, the bundled glass roving 1 is fixed to a mesh panel 5 made of stainless metal with the wire 4, and the mesh panel 5 is fixed to a steel plate 7. Thus, a non-combustible thatched type roof having no possibility of deterioration such as putrefaction can be formed.
