Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain high reliability inexpensively by selectively switching both transmitting routes connected or disconnected by a single switching means.

CONSTITUTION: A switching means 13, which selectively switches an electronic control side transmitting route 15 for transmitting drive power of an actuator 14 to a throttle shaft 4 of a throttle valve 3 and a mechanical control side transmitting route 16 for mechanically transmitting operating force of an accelerator pedal 10 to the throttle shaft 4, is provided. At normal time, the throttle valve 3 is controlled opened/closed through the electronic control side transmitting route 15 by the drive power of the actuator 14. At abnormality time, the mechanical control side transmitting route 16 is connected by the switching means 13 based on an abnormality signal from a control circuit 7, so that the throttle valve 3 is controlled opened/closed through the mechanical control side transmitting route 16 by the operating force of the accelerator pedal 10.
