Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the subject apparatus for dry distillation of an organic material, capable of, e.g. improving the working efficiency, facilitating control of operation condition, reducing the weight of the apparatus and prolonging the service life by setting a special heater in a tank.

CONSTITUTION: A high heat-resistant sheath heater 4 is set in a pressure tank 1 for dry distillation of an organic material. The sheath heater 4 is made up, e.g. by using a nichrome wire and an insulating material such as high-purity magnesium oxide. Since metal vapor generated from a nichrome wire, etc., accompanying heating cap be quickly caught by the insulating material at the gas-generation part, thin apparatus is serviceable at high temperatures for a lone period.
