Title:
Nano compound solid lubricous tunic
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6249533
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
The invention relates to a solid lubricant magnetron sputtering physical vapor deposition (MS PVD) coating, which can be used in mechanical engineering, specifically in automotive, aircraft and space industries for increasing lifetime of moving parts such as bearings, chains, pistons and joints that experience sliding or rolling friction. A nanocomposite solid lubricant coating containing a carbon matrix with copper grains, according to the invention, contains an additional metal selected from the group consisting of Ti, Zr, Hf, Cr, V, Fe in bulk proportions, at.%: carbon 5 - 35; copper 50 - 90; additional metal 5 - 15.
