PURPOSE: To obtain a novel naphthyl ether compound useful as an injurious organism and injurious fungi-controlling agent showing improved and extended effective controlling effects.
CONSTITUTION: This novel naphthyl ether compound is represented by formula I [wherein A is phenyl or a 5-6-membered heteroaryl which may have 3≥N, 1-2N and one O or S, or one O or S; (n) is 0 or 1; X is O, S or N- (H, alkyl, alkoxy, phenyl or the like); Y is O or further N- (H, alkyl or alkoxy) in the case of Z being NOCH3; Z is CHOCH3, NOCH3, CHCH3 or CHCH2CH3; R1 is a 1-4C alkyl; R2 is a 1-6C alkyl, a 3-6C cycloalkyl, a 2-6C alkenyl, a 2-6C alkynyl, phenyl or a 5-6-membered heteroaryl (having 3≥N, 1-2N and one O or S, or one O or S)] and includes, e.g. 1-[6-(2-cyclophenoxy)-pyrimidinyl-4-oxy]- naphthyl-2-gly-oxylicacid-methylester-O-methyloxime of formula II.
