Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a natural grain pattern forming apparatus capable of efficiently performing a coating film forming process and a graining process among a plurality of processes for applying a coating film having grain very similar to the grain of high-grade natural wood and extremely strong against discoloration or fading.
SOLUTION: A moving frame 64 is provided to the upper part of a fixed frame 63 in a freely slidable manner and a coating film forming means 68 and a first and a second rubbing line forming means 72, 77 are provided on the moving frame 64. The coating film forming means 68 applies a composite pigment having a desired hue prepared by mixing two or three kinds of pigments among black, red and yellow pigments to form a grain pattern coating film. A loading plate 61a is provided to the fixed frame 63 and a base member 1 is placed thereon and, in this state, the moving frame 64 is moved in the direction shown by an arrow (a) to apply the grain pattern coating film layer on the surface of the base member 1 by the coating film forming means 68 and the coated film is rubbed by the first rubbing line forming means 72 of the first stage and further finely embossed by the second rubbing line forming means 77 of the next stage to form a grain pattern coating film layer.
