Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a natural language semantic analytic processor by developing a semantic analyzing technique capable of naturally storing context information as for interaction of specially, for example, car navigation. CONSTITUTION: This processor is equipped with a syntax analysis part 11 which obtains the syntax analytic tree of an inputted sentence, a semantic analysis part 13 which performs synonymous conversion from each branch 'a predicate plus a case plus a noun appended to the case' to 'the predicate plus the case plus an attribute noun = the noun appended to the case' by decomposing a partial structure tree into a set of branches of 'the predicate plus a case postpositional phrase' in units of respective clauses included in the syntax analytic tree analyzed by the syntax analysis part 11, then analyzes the sematics of the input sentence by representing 'the predicate plus the case plus the attribute noun' as one noun that is determined uniquely by a phenomenon and does not depend upon the predicate, and further collates context information described in similar format with the result of the semantic analysis of the input sentence or overwrites the semantic analytic result of the input sentence to the context information, and a control part 31 which totally controls the syntax analysis part 11 and semantic analysis part 13 to control the input of the input sentence and the output of an output sentence.
