Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fiber assembly having a natural degradability and capable of producing a fiber product having excellent bulkiness and softness, and a preferable feeling and to provide an application product by applying the fiber assembly.
SOLUTION: This fiber assembly such as a yarn, staples, cotton, a tow, a web, a knit, a woven fabric, a nonwoven fabric and an assembly resembling thereto comprises a sheath-core type fiber 4 having a sheath of a crystalline aliphatic polyester polymer (A) having ≥140°C melting point and a core of a polymer (C) containing ≥10% aliphatic polyester component (B) having a melting point ≥20°C lower than that of the polymer A, and other naturally degradable fiber 5 different from the fiber 4.
