PURPOSE: To automatically include a movement command given to an additional shaft in NC data in a NC data originating method.
CONSTITUTION: A tool exchanging process where the NC data of a tool exchanging command or a tool shaft rotation command are sent out together with the movement of a cross rail serving as an additional shaft is executed (step S3). Next, a machining shape referring process to refer a machining shape which can be machined with the same tool is executed (step S4), and then a machining NC data sending out process where the NC data of a machining command are sent out together with the movement of the cross rail is executed (step S5). Thus, at the time of tool exchanging or machining, the NC data of a NC machine tool having the additional, shaft can be simply originated in a short time.
