Abstract:

To prevent decline of machining precision near the top of a curved surface by arranging two feed rods with a specific angle relative to the rotary shaft of a work.

This NC machining machinery (CNC lathe) 41 is equipped with a biaxially-driven NC slide 49 for sending a tool 47 relative to a main shaft 45 for checking a work 43. The NC slide 49 has a Z-axis slide 51 for executing feed at an angle of 45° relative to the main shaft 45 and an X-axis slide 53 for executing feed at a slide cross angle of 90° relative to the Z-axis slide 51 and at an angle of 45° relative to the main shaft 45. And an X-axis table 71 moved by the function of an X-axis driving ball screw 67 is loaded on a Z table 63 moved by the function of a Z-axis driving ball screw 59 and a tool rest 73 is loaded on the X-axis table 71, and profiling machining of the work 43 is executed by the tool 47.
