Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an NC program creation device enabling an operator to set an indexing angle of a rotary feed shaft.SOLUTION: A display control part 8 displays, in a display 10, an image in which a three-dimensional model of a workpiece is arranged in a space with coordinate axes along three linear feed shafts, and rotates the displayed image around a rotary feed shaft according to an image rotation signal inputted from a signal input part 9. A machining process setting part 5, when receiving an indexing angle determination signal from the signal input part 9, obtains a rotation angle around the rotary feed shaft, in the image displayed in the display 10, from the display control part 8, sets the obtained rotation angle to an indexing angle of the rotary feed shaft, sets machining regions for a three-dimensional model at the indexing angle, and then sets machining processes for the machining regions. A tool path generation part 6 generates tool paths along the three linear feed shafts for a machining region for each of the set machining processes. A program creation part 7 creates an NC program on the basis of the tools paths or the like.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
