Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a near-azeotropic blend which is used as a refrigerant, etc., and is useful as a substitute for R-205.
CONSTITUTION: This blend comprises pentafluoroethane, 1,1,1-trifluoroethane, and at least one compd. selected from among chlorodifluoromethane, 1- chloro-1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroethane, 1-chloro-1,2,2,2-tetrafluoroethane, 1,1,1,2,3,3,3- heptafluoropropane, 1,1,1,2,2,3,3-heptafluoropropane, and perfluorocyclopropane; chlorodifluoromethane, pentafluoroethane, and at least one compd. selected from among dimethyl ether, propylene, and difluoromethane; chlorodifluoromethane, 1,1,1-trifluoroethane, and 1,2,2,2-tetrafluoroethane or octafluoropropane; or pentafluoroethane, fluoroethane, and 1,2,2,2- tetrafluoroethane.
