To provide a dispersion of near-infrared absorptive fine particles that forms a coating film provided with performance having high invisibility and near-infrared absorption performance and high light resistance, and near-infrared absorptive ink and inkjet ink using the dispersion.
The near-infrared absorptive dispersion is obtained by dispersing a near-infrared absorptive compound represented by general formula (1) in a form of fine particles in a dispersion medium: wherein R1a and R1b are each independently alkyl, aryl, or heteroaryl; R2 and R3 are each independently a hydrogen atom or a substituent, and at least one of R2 and R3 is an electron withdrawing group; R2 and R3 may be linked together to form a ring; and R4 is a hydrogen atom, alkyl, aryl, heteroaryl, substituted boron, or a metal atom, and R4 may be covalently bonded or coordinately bonded to R1a, R1b and/or R3.
