To provide a needle allowing passage of a thread not by passing the tip of the thread through the ear hole of the needle but by letting the thread follow along the outer edge of the needle's ear.

The needle's ear has a part (a) and a part (b)forming an opening corresponding to the thread's thickness. An opened gap (c) is formed into an opening through which the thread can pass. The part (d) is provided by stretching the part (a) so that the thread does not move backward and escape after the thread is passed. By processing the needle's ear in this way, the needle can be used as usual after shifting the thread from a thread cross section (1) to a thread cross section (2) while letting it touch along the outer side of the needle's ear, further moving it to a thread cross section (3) and setting it in a thread cross section (4).
