Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor smoke separation mechanism of a negative pressure type and a smoking both in an aircraft which can simply ensure a smoking place.
SOLUTION: A smoking booth obtained by applying an indoor smoke separation mechanism of a negative ressure type to an aircraft comprises a smoking compartment 38 defined by partitioning the vicinity of the door 15L of a passenger cabin three-side air curtains AC cooperating with an inner wall including a door 15L and an exhaust port 40 provided in the ceiling of the smoking compartment 38 to suck and eliminate the amount of air more than the amount of air entrained at the time of forming the air curtains AC from the smoking compartment 38 and maintain a forced negative pressure state therein.
