Abstract:
To provide a Neisseria DNA sequence encoding an antigenic or immunogenic protein.
There is provided a protein containing an amino acid sequence and the corresponding nucleotide sequence and originated from Neisseria meningitidis. The protein is predicted to be an antigen useful for vaccines and/or diagnostic medicines. There are provided Neisseria meningitidis menB nucleotide sequence, and an amino acid sequence encoded therein. These disclosed sequences can be used to produce nucleic acid probe assays, and expression cassettes and expression vectors. The expression vectors can be transformed into host cells to produce proteins.
