Abstract:
To provide a network license management system which can permit the license of a content or the like in a network.
Data recorded in a system which a server computer 2 cannot interpret, original format content data 84a of 'data base Showa history' of users for example, is stored in CD-ROM 83a. The content license 82a of name who are permitted to use content data 84a and a using period is stored in a floppy disk 81a. When a user terminal 9b-1 uses content data 84a through a network 3, the server 2 checks the content of the content license 82a and gives the license to the user terminal 9b-1.
