Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for calling attention for the of recording sheets to a user, when a situation that a large number of recording sheets based on different printing requests are left as they are is continued to possibly cause the contamination of the recording sheets.
SOLUTION: This network printer 4 is provided with sensors 41a, 42a..., for detecting the presence of the recording sheets in respective bottles 41, 42..., and a control means 21. The control means 21 determines the necessity of an alarm based on storage conditions of the bottles when receiving a last print request from computers 31, 32..., via an LAN 1, and controls alarm data for outputting an alarm message to be transmitted, by a display 31a of the computer 31 of a printing requirer, when determining the necessity.
