To provide a security protecting apparatus for a network for performing security protection during network communication using an IP protocol.
The security protecting apparatus includes a first mother board 11 connected to a first network 1, a second mother board 12 connected to a second network 2, and a communication means 300 for performing communication between the mother boards, the first and second mother boards 11, 12 are configured to switch the communication means 300 in any communication direction of a first communication direction 51 for performing communication only from the first to the second mother board in the communication between both the mother boards 11, 12, a second communication direction 52 for performing communication only from the second to the first mother board, or a third communication direction 53 for performing communication from the first to the second mother board and from the second to the first mother board, and a control section 41 is provided for controlling the relevant switching in accordance with security conditions.
