Abstract:
To enable a center located at the center of a network to perform LAN outsourcing.
A plurality of LANs 1A and 1B in which hosts A1 to A3 and B1 to B3 are arranged, a WAN (wide are network) 2 connected to the plurality of LANs 1A and 1B, CPEs (customer premises equipment) 3A and 3B connecting the LANs 1A and 1B and the WAN 2 to convert destinations of the LANs 1A and 1B and the WAN 2 to each other, and an OSP 4 connected to the WAN 2 are provided. The OSP 4 manages management information obtained by associating the host names of the hosts A1 to A3 and B1 to B3 with an MAC address and with an IP address, and performs destination address solution between the hosts A1 to A3 and B1 to B3.
