Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To encipher communication in a radio section of a radio network without depending on a location of a radio base station.
SOLUTION: When an ARP request for acquiring a physical address corresponding to an IP address of a radio terminal 16-i is transmitted from a wire terminal 13-j (S1), a VPN gateway 14 returns the self-physical address by proxy ARP to the wire terminal 13-j being an ARP request source (S2). When communication data including an IP packet addressed to the radio terminal 16-i is transmitted to the VPN gateway 14 from the wire terminal 13-j by using the physical address of the VPN gateway 14, the VPN gateway 14 receives communication data and enciphers the IP packet addressed to the radio terminal 16-i in communication data. The VPN gateway 14 transmits communication data including the enciphered IP packet to the radio terminal 16-i (S4).
