NEW MATERIAL: A compd. of formula I [wherein A is benzene which can have 1-4 substituents (which are 1-6C alkyl, 1-6C alkoxy, 1-6C alkenyloxy or the like), formula II, formula III or the like; X is O or NH; B is formula IV-formula VI; R and R1 are each H or a 1-6C alkyl which can have a substituent such as a halogen; R3 is H, a halogen or a 1-6c alkoxy; R4 and R5 are each H or a 1-6C alkyl; m is 1 or 2; p is 0, 1 or 2; and q is an integer of 0-3], their tautomers, their optical isomers and their acid additive salts.
EXAMPLE: Hydrochloric acid [endo-8-iminomethyl-8-azabicyclo-[3,2,1]octo-3-yl]-3,5- dichlorobenzoate.
USE: A 5-HT3 acceptor antagonist useful as antinauseant, stomachic and antimigraine medicines.
PROCESS: A compd. of formula VII is reacted with a compd. of formula A-CO-Y (wherein Y is a leaving group) in a nonprotonic solvent at 0-130°C to obtain a compd. of formula I.
