Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce the subject new compound useful as a medicament having antiyeast, antifungal and immunomodulating actions by culturing a specific microorganism of the genus Aspergillus in a nutrient culture medium containing a carbon source, a nitrogen source and an inorganic salt under aerobic conditions.
CONSTITUTION: Aspergillus sydowii Y-30462 (D0M5745) is cultured in a culture medium containing a carbon source such as glucose or starch, a nitrogen source such as a meat extract or trypton or an inorganic salt such as sodium or potassium at 25-30°C and pH 6-7 under aerobic conditions for ≥66 hr to afford the objective compound represented by the formula.
