Abstract:

To provide an aryl homopiperazine compound or its salt useful as an intermediate for medicines, agrochemicals and industrial materials.

This aryl homopiperazine compound represented by the general formula (IV) or its salt is obtained by reacting an aryl halide with a homopiperazine derivative in the presence of a base and a catalyst comprising a trialkylphosphines and a palladium compound.
