The blend comprises a combination of the first polymer having at least a part made from a polyoxyalkylene copolymer with a second component selected from the group consisting of a polymer and an oligomer. In one embodiment, the blend comprises a bioabsorbable terpolymer comprising a polyoxyalkylene copolymer, a unit derived from -caprolactone and the remainder of other copolymerizable monomers provided in the specification, and a polymer derived from two or more monomers selected from the group consisting of lactide, glycolide, lactic acid, lactone, glycolic acid, carbonate, ortho ester, absorbable urethane and absorbable nylon.
